Svi shvatamo koliko je važno prati zube i čistiti ih koncem posle svakog obroka – mada većina nas to ne radi.

Many of us realize precisely how serious it is to brush and floss our teeth after each meal – only not all of us actually do. Individuals who do not take correct care of their teeth and mouth will hurt from more than just horrible breath. They will likewise have to manage with particular diseases that start in the mouth and impact our entire bodies.

The most average disease of the mouth is gingivitis. This is a type of periodontal disease or the infection of the gums, teeth, bones, nerves, sockets, and ligaments that are contained in the mouth. This condition can stimulate swelling and inflammation of the gums and is ofttimes induced by the plaque that is developing along the gum line.

Plaque is a sticky substance that is located on the base of the teeth and is caused by the bacteria that grows in the mouth, mucus, and needless food particles. It is one of the biggest causes of cavities. When plaque is not withdrawn and is left to sit in the mouth for a long time it will develop into tartar – another well-known cause of gingivitis.

Gingivitis Symptoms:

Swelling and redness of the gums
Pain
Bleeding
Pus
Bad breath

People who hurt from from this condition will acquire profound harm to their teeth and the roots and nerves of every tooth. This will stimulate them to become exposed and may even cause your teeth to come out of your mouth. This problem will cause the gums that are infectious to split from the gum line.

While not enough brushing and cleaning has the power to cause gingivitis – too much of it has the power to also. Somebody who flosses and brushes their teeth too much or who gets hit in the mouth may also be at risk for this disease.

If you do not address gingivitis it will cause more then just terrible breath. It will extend to the roots of the teeth and infect not just a couple of them – but all of the teeth held inside of the mouth. It will also cause your gums to become extremely tender and to bleed whenever you brush your teeth.

Some factors increase the risk of developing gingivitis:

Tobacco smoking or chewing

Systemic diseases such as diabetes

Some types of medication such as steroids, some types of anti-epilepsy drugs, cancer therapy drugs, some calcium channel blockers and oral contraceptives

Bridges that no longer fit properly

Crooked teeth

Fillings that have become defective

Pregnancy or use of oral contraceptives

Simptomi gingivitisa (zapaljenja desni):

Oticanje i crvenilo

Krvarenje desni

Bol

Gnoj

Sistemske bolesti poput dijabetesa
